Who we are

The Small Business School of Management (SBSM) was established in the year 2008 to assist Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to survive and thrive in the competitive world of business. We achieve this by providing SMEs with a range of business support services consisting of Business Skills Training, Coaching and Mentoring and Networking Opportunities.

We also provide Training of Trainer (TOT) programmes aimed at establishing a pool of competent SME Trainers, Coaches, Incubator Managers and SME Associations in order to provide critical on-going support to SMEs.

Our Mission and Goals

Our mission is to provide Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with cost effective and affordable skills, tools and resources necessary to succeed in business. In this way, they make a positive contribution to employment and wealth creation in the economy.

Our Team

Our team of trainers and coaches have national and international certifications as SME development specialists and are themselves entrepreneurs. They therefore have the capacity to deliver practical, down-to-earth, easy-to-apply small business solutions to SMEs. Since inception, we have trained and coached many SMEs who have in turn created employment and wealth, in the communities in which they operate.
